1. Introduction
Welcome to MyTabbi.
MyTabbi (“MyTabbi,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a platform designed to help cat owners manage their cats’ health, care, routines, food research, records, community interactions, and optional paid features such as Support Membership subscriptions and peer marketplace checkout.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices available to you.
By using MyTabbi, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy.
MyTabbi is operated by Tabbi, Inc. at https://mytabbi.app.
2. Information we collect

Payment and payout information
When you subscribe, checkout, sell, or receive payouts through MyTabbi:
- Tabbi stores order records, subscription status, payout summaries, shipping addresses you save, and references to Stripe objects (such as customer, payment intent, and connected account IDs)
- Stripe collects and processes payment card details, bank account information, identity verification documents, tax information, and fraud signals directly according to Stripe’s Privacy Policy
Tabbi does not store full payment card numbers on its own servers.
If you are under 18 and use paid features, a parent or legal guardian must consent to payment activity as described in our Payment Terms.
Information from Google Sign-In
If you choose to sign in using Google, we may receive:
- Name
- Email address
- Profile photo
This is limited to authentication and account profile setup. It does not by itself grant MyTabbi access to your Google Drive or Google Sheets.
Optional Google backup (Drive and Sheets)
If you choose Connect Google for backups at Settings → Your data, you authorize a separate connection from Google sign-in. With your consent, we may:
- Store an encrypted Google refresh token on our servers so backup jobs can run on your behalf
- Create and update files and folders in your Google Drive that MyTabbi creates (for example the MyTabbi Exports folder, per-cat document folders, and export ZIP uploads)
- Create and update Google Sheets spreadsheets for cats you enable (care logs, medications, weights, appointments, and optional notes)
- Read spreadsheet content when you request an import from Sheets back into MyTabbi
We use Google OAuth scopes drive.file (files the app creates or opens for backup) and spreadsheets (spreadsheets the app creates or updates for care sync). We do not request broad access to your entire Google Drive.
When you disconnect Google backup, we revoke our access and delete stored backup tokens. Copies already in your Google account remain under your control in Google.
Google processes information according to Google’s Privacy Policy when you use Google backup features.
Visit prep email and share links
If you use Visit prep to email a report to a veterinarian or other recipient, you choose the recipient address and message. We send email on your behalf from MyTabbi with your email as the reply-to address. The report may be attached as an HTML file and, if you opt in, we host a copy behind a revocable link you control (with expiry you choose or until you close the link).
We process recipient email addresses and share-link metadata to deliver the report and let you revoke access. Do not send visit prep to addresses unless you have permission to share that pet’s health information.
Information collected automatically
We may automatically collect:
- Authentication session data
- Device and browser information
- IP address
- Application logs
- Security and fraud prevention data
- Last active timestamps
- Messaging presence information
- Push notification subscription information
- Device timezone information
- Aggregate usage data through privacy-friendly analytics
- Payment event metadata (amounts, status, timestamps) needed to operate billing and checkout
We do not collect precise GPS location. City, state, and ZIP code are only what you choose to enter on your profile.

6. Cookies and similar technologies
MyTabbi may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to:
- Maintain login sessions
- Remember preferences
- Improve performance
- Secure accounts
- Remember legal consent version
- Understand aggregate usage through analytics
At this time, MyTabbi does not use third-party advertising cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect sign-in and core functionality.
7. User choices and privacy rights
You may:
- Access your account information
- Download a copy of your data at Settings → Your data (see Data export and backup below)
- Update profile information
- Change privacy settings
- Manage notification preferences
- Manage saved shipping addresses and payment methods through the Money hub (processed by Stripe)
- Remove shared content
- Request deletion of your account
Data export and backup
At Settings → Your data, you may:
- Export a ZIP archive of information associated with your account to your device (free for all users, subject to reasonable rate limits)
- Import a Tabbi export ZIP to restore or merge data
- Connect Google for backups (optional) to save exports to Google Drive and sync selected care data to Google Sheets
- Import from Google Drive or Sheets when you initiate those actions
Export archives may include profile information, cat profiles, care and health records, notes, documents (and media when you choose to include files), messages, community activity, marketplace activity, food-related saves and reviews, and billing summaries, depending on what your account contains and what you are permitted to access under our permissions model.
Completed export files prepared on our servers are typically available for download for a limited period (generally about 24 hours) before they expire. Optional Google Drive copies remain in your Google account under your control.
Import and Sheets sync operations merge data where designed to do so; they are not a substitute for professional data migration advice. You are responsible for reviewing import summaries and keeping your own backups before large imports.
Disconnecting Google backup stops future Drive/Sheets operations by MyTabbi but does not delete files or spreadsheets already stored in your Google account.
Account deletion
Users may request account deletion through Settings → Account or by contacting privacy@mytabbi.app.
We recommend exporting or saving a copy of your data at Settings → Your data before deletion.
You must cancel active subscriptions and resolve open payment disputes before deletion, as described in our Payment Terms.
Deleted account information will generally be removed or anonymized within a reasonable period, typically within 90 days, unless retention is required by law, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution. Payment and transaction records may be retained longer where required.
Deleting your account is permanent and may remove cat profiles, care history, messages, and uploads associated with your account.
California privacy rights
California residents may have rights under applicable California privacy laws, including the right to:
- Know what information is collected
- Access collected information
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion
- Request information regarding disclosures
- Opt out of certain processing, such as “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (we do not sell personal information for money)
- Exercise rights without discrimination
Requests may be submitted to privacy@mytabbi.app with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.
8. Data retention
We retain information only as long as necessary to:
- Operate the service
- Provide requested features
- Maintain security
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Meet tax and payment recordkeeping requirements
Export job metadata, generated ZIP files on our storage, and optional Google backup connection records are retained only as long as needed to operate those features (for example, completed exports are typically removed or expired after about 24 hours unless you save them to your device or Google Drive).
Backup copies may remain for a limited period after deletion.

MyTabbi is not intended for children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that information has been collected from a child under 13, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Users between 13 and 17 may use paid features only with parent or legal guardian consent, as described in our Payment Terms.
